Security Officers Course (SSO)
is a mandatory requirement and is exactly what you need if you are looking to
work in the Maritime Security Industry.
Recent global events have dominated the
news and have highlighted the need for qualified security to work all over the
world. This is not just the reserve of hostile ground environments but the
maritime business has seen significant security related issues over the last
few years, not just in commercial shipping but port and facilities security as
well as the private sector.

approved to run our Ship Security Officer course which includes the Anti-Piracy
Section of training. Our course provides our usual high standards of
instruction andtakes 3 days to complete.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a
certificate of achievement. This certificate will be fully authorised by the
Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA)
which will allow you to conduct the duties of a SSO as listed in the
International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS)
Code, which is an International requirement for all shipping and the security
of vessels.
